Sony Online Entertainment, the studio behind games like Planetside 2 and Everquest Next was sold and bought by Columbus Nova, a firm company in New York for an undisclosed amount. With new ownership comes a new name for Sony Online Entertainment which will now be called Daybreak Game Company LLC. One3 other notable change is that they will start producing games for other gaming platforms as well as bring some of their current library over to other platforms.
