Wii says farewell to its online service

We all knew this was a long time coming ever since the introduction of the Wii U and 3DS. In a statement on their website Nintendo has stated that they thank their loyal fans for their continued support but as of May 20, 2014 they will discontinue their online support on the Wii and DS consoles. But do not worry you will still be able to have access to the Wii Shop Channel as well as being able to use all video streaming services like Netflix and YouTube. For those who wish to read Nintendo full statement I’ve included a ling down below which also includes a list of all the games that are effected by this.

About mherrera697

I've been gaming for many years now from the early days of the Nintendo all the way up to now. I was part of a site for a number of years but decided to venture out on my own. I created this site to see how far I could go on my own.
