The return of Guitar Hero

Rhythm games were all the rage a few years back and spread like wildfire and eventually evolved to be more than just games, they became away to teach you how to play an instrument but slowly we started to see a decline in games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. While we do have games like Rocksmith that fill that niche it’s not what it use to be. Looks like things are about to change as Activision has announced their return to rhythm genre with Guitar Hero Live but unlike other games that have become more like teaching tools to play an instrument Guitar Hero does away with all that by simply making it fun for anyone to play and focusing on that instead of trying to teach you how to play a guitar. The game will be out sometime this fall. So do you think this game or are you over rhythm games like this one ?

About mherrera697

I've been gaming for many years now from the early days of the Nintendo all the way up to now. I was part of a site for a number of years but decided to venture out on my own. I created this site to see how far I could go on my own.

  1. Oh my god no, there is something so awesome about rhythmic gaming! I mean, first it combines two of my favorite things – gaming and music. Secondly, it is both a social and a solo game, so it can be played at parties with friends, or used as a way to wind down after a long day! Bring on the game!
