Microsoft announcements from Gamescom

Gamescom has commenced and Microsoft showed us more footage of games that we have seen over the past few months as well as new and exciting new games and features coming to the Xbox One.

A game that been announced for some time Quantum Break was once again present with more amazing gameplay footage. They also showed of crackdown 3 is getting a little more crazy by having 100% destructible environments, Scalebound which reminded me of  the Monster Hunter series which will be available sometime in 2016 like many of the titles that were shown. A cool new feature for the Xbox One will let you DVR your favorite programs, this new feature will be free and will be available 2016. Indie games made their presence known with games like Bloodstained, City Skylines, Silence, The Devils Men and many others that were just mentioned. Dark Souls 3 was announced and looks great. HomeFront The Revolution looks cool and has an interesting premise. Ea made its presence known with FIFA talking about its legends players and the introduction of women players into the game. Microsoft also announced a FIFA Xbox One bundle.

Closing of the day, Microsoft showed a match of multiplayer of Halo 5 Guardians and announced a tournament with a price of 1 million dollars at stake.  Just like Halo is a staple of the Xbox so to is the Forza franchise and the new iteration of the franchise looks amazing from the cars to the racetracks. New gameplay footage of Tomb Raider Rise of the Tomb Raider was shown and the game looks intense. Finally before Microsoft said goodbye they revealed for the first time that they are working on Halo Wars 2. Lots of cool and interesting things coming to the Xbox One.
