Mighty No. 9 is not the game people expected

So remember when Mighty No.9 was first announced and everyone started to lose their minds because it got them excited for a Mega Man successor and people started to back the game on Kickstarter. Looks like people are changing their tune about the game after watching the latest trailer which makes the game look mediocre and lacking the flare that people were expecting from a Mega Man successor. Don’t take my word for it, you can check out the trailer in its entirety for yourself and perhaps you too might feel like so many who are disappointing at the end product or still look forward to this game.

This might be another one of those instances where a game company under delivers and simply a case were people become more aware of the risk of crowd funding. While there is nothing wrong with doing so you have to go in with the mentality that you hope for the best outcome possible but their is a small chance that things wont pan out the way you hoped, which so many people have come to realize after funding this game and might be thinking twice about funding another game again.

  1. Yeah, that looks pretty bad. I was sort of excited about it, but I guess my urge for new sidescrollers will be filled up by Kirby: Planet Robobot and the new Shantae game, which are bound to be spectacular titles.
