E3 one of the biggest gaming expos for video games will be opening its doors to the public this year allowing 15,000 people to experience all the hoop-la of E3 first hand. For those who are interested the tickets will go on sale this Monday February 13th and the first lucky 1,000 people to purchase the tickets will only pay $149 per tickets and those who weren’t lucky enough to get that deal will have to cough up $249 for the expo. Regardless each ticket will give you access to all 3 days of the expo making for an experience that you may never forget.
This seems like a clever way to get people talking about E3 again and excited about the expo which last year saw companies like EA, Activision and Disney Interactive opting out for their own events or simply not at all. As more and more expos pop up and companies realize that they can provide their own experiences without having to compete with other companies for people to come to their booths at these events, inviting the public to participate could be what E3 needs to do to stay relevant in today’s market and keep companies from jumping ship.
